Elsewhere Again is an independent IP studio built around character driven storytelling, creative collaboration, and the belief that some stories deserve to be told no matter how long the road takes.
Elsewhere Again was founded on the belief that there are stories out there that never get the spotlight they deserve. We wanted to create something rooted in resilience, imagination, and emotional honesty.
The studio originally began as a solo visual novel project in 2025. As the scope grew, we realized the world and characters deserved a bigger medium and a bigger team to bring them to life properly.
We believe one closed door should not end somebody's creative future. The entertainment industry can be intimidating, especially for emerging talent, so we want to create opportunities wherever we can.
We would rather spend more time developing something meaningful than rush a project that is not ready. Strong stories take time, experimentation, and care.
Elsewhere Again operates remotely, allowing collaborators from different backgrounds and regions to contribute creatively without being limited by geography.
Characters and emotional storytelling always come before trends.
We embrace experimentation and unconventional ideas.
Great projects are built by people who genuinely care.
We are focused on building worlds that can grow over time.
The people helping shape Elsewhere Again come from different creative and professional backgrounds, but share the same interest in thoughtful storytelling and long term worldbuilding.

Originally from California, Jay comes from an advertising and graphic design background with experience across entertainment, branding, and creative development.
Before founding Elsewhere Again, he interned in talent management for Chief Keef's lifestyle and entertainment brand, externed at Beats by Dre, and connected with professional voice actors while working at his city's annual pop culture convention.
He completed a class on Radical Creativity at Aalto University and nearly joined Netflix in a creative talent development role before choosing to found Elsewhere Again instead.

Originally from Eastern Europe with a STEM background, Jules joined Elsewhere Again during the very early stages of production.
Her analytical approach and organized mindset have become an integral part of the project's foundation as the team continues to grow.
Right now, Elsewhere Again is not positioning itself as a full scale indie animation studio. The goal is to develop strong intellectual property, build creative partnerships, and connect with fellow indie studios that can help bring these stories to life properly.
The project begins as a small passion driven visual novel concept before expanding into a larger entertainment property.
Casting research, worldbuilding, visual identity work, and long term creative planning begin to take shape remotely.
Submissions are live on Casting Call Club. Four roles. Deadline May 22, 2026. New talent welcome.
The pre-pilot phase is an animatic teaser -- the foundation for building our audience, finalizing the pitch bible and RFP, and expanding the team significantly. From there, the door opens to a proper studio partnership.
The name "Elsewhere Again" comes from the Spanish phrase "Otra vez en otro lugar", inspired by childhood memories of constantly daydreaming and drifting into imagination. That spirit still defines the studio today.
